The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) hereby invites registered Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Non Governmental Organisations (NGOs) and other interested stakeholders who wish to observe the forthcoming 2011 General Elections to visit the Commission’s Website www.inecnigeria.org for the Application Forms.

Interested Observer groups who wish to apply should download the Application Form (EMOC 01) for Election Observers from the website.

The list of all successful Observer groups will be published on the Commission’s Website shortly after the close of Application.

Accreditation of Election Observers

All successful observer groups would be required to subsequently fill the Accreditation Form (EMOC 02) for election observers which are obtainable on submission of (EMOC 01) at the Election Monitoring and Observation Unit, INEC Headquarters, Maitama, Abuja.

Observer groups applying for accreditation should please note that Passport Photographs of their Leaders/Representatives will be required in filling Form (EMOC 02).

Closing date for the receipt of applications is 2nd March, 2011.
