The attention of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has been drawn to a recruitment portal purporting to conduct “massive nationwide recruitment 2013” for the Commission.

The portal’s URL is http://www.jobsatinec.com/2012/11/19/independent-national-electoral-commission-inec-massive-nationwide-recruitment-2013/, and it puts seven career positions on offer.

This is to alert the public that the portal is phony, and was not put up by INEC. The Commission is not conducting any massive recruitment at the moment, and the sponsors of the said portal are apparently out to hoodwink and defraud the public.

INEC has already invited the security agencies to uncover and apprehend the sponsors of the recruitment portal. Meanwhile, prospective applicants are strongly advised to shun the portal, so as not to get defrauded.
